Perfect for couples, a group of friends or young family, The Cote Cottage is a luxury Cotswolds stone cottage located in Finstock, a highly sought after village in the heart of the Cotswolds. Soho Farmhouse (15 min drive), Daylesford, Blenheim Palace, Chipping Norton, Bicester Village and other highly-popular restaurants & activities are located in close proximity, making it perfect for luxury getaways. Charlbury station is only two miles away providing quick & easy access to London and Oxford. THE SPACEThe Cote is a contemporary Cotswolds cottage with a private entrance, with many character features from oak beams and exposed Cotswold stone. The character of the cottage is accompanied by its contemporary furnishing. It has recently been refurbished and modernised to a high standard throughout. The front garden has a small patio and seating area to greet you when you arrive. On street parking is free and located directly outside the cottage. An open living and dining space is beautifully designed with oak beams, exposed Cotswold stone and cosy furnishings. There is a sofa (which transforms into double bed), armchair, breakfast bar with two chairs, and a new flat screen TV with streaming services. The kitchen has an induction cooker, oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, kettle and toaster, with all cooking utensils you’ll need for your stay. A patio door from the kitchen opens out onto the peaceful back garden, a perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring during the warmer months. With high ceilings and exposed oak beams, the bedroom has a spacious but cosy feel. There’s a king size bed and built in wardrobe to store luggage and clothing. The bathroom is bright and spacious with a large walk in shower. There's high speed wifi to service the whole cottage making it a perfect place to work away from the office/home. Upon confirming your booking, you’ll be sent a comprehensive booklet for the cottage. This has everything you should need to know from check in details, local restaurant & pub recommendations, nearby attractions, local A&E etc. to maps of local walks which you can follow. Pets/furry friends are also welcome for an additional fee, which is charged after booking via payment link. Getting around

Train (from London): Monday to Friday daily service operated by Great Western Railway from London Paddington with a change at Oxford or Didcot Parkway. The total journey takes approximately 1h 18m – 1h 26m. There is no service on the weekends. Charlbury Station has a more frequent service throughout the day (though beware the mid-afternoon gap!) and can be reached by a short 5 minute taxi ride Bus: The X9 (Pulhams Coaches) goes through Finstock with a stop in front of the cottage - ‘Finstock Village Shop’, with a route from Chipping Norton to Witney. In 1757, the manor house was acquired by the Duke of Marlborough. The archaeological remains which are visible are protected from the elements under a modern roof cover. The ruins are situated by the River Windrush. Minster Lovell Hall was built by William Lovell around 1440.
